A. Personal Statement
Dr. Rosenblatt is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist in the departments of Neurology and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC). In 2021 he completed a two-year, American Psychological Association-accredited, post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Dr. Rosenblatt has worked extensively with patients with a range of neurological disorders and injuries within the context of neuropsychological evaluation, psychotherapy, and individualized cognitive rehabilitation interventions. He is currently in the process of developing a cognitive rehabilitation service line for the department of Neurology’s Jona Goldrich Center for Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders to provide evidence-based intervention to patients with mild cognitive impairment. He has previously contributed to neuropsychological research studies with the Translational Research Center for TBI and Stress Disorders (TRACTS) at VA Boston Healthcare System and the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, the Boston Attention and Learning Lab, as well as the BRAVE Trial, a multi-site clinical trial for a cognitive rehabilitation intervention funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. Dr. Rosenblatt is also involved in the development of community outreach initiatives to educate LGBTQ older adults on healthy aging and dementia, as well as educational programs for caregivers of individuals with dementia. He is also currently consulting on an Alzheimer's Association Research Grant to Promote Diversity (AARG-D), Risk and Protective Factors for Cognitive Health of LGBTQIA+ Older Adults (Principal Investigator: Jason Flatt, PhD, University of Nevada Las Vegas).
