Jayachandra Kura obtained his BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida (UF). He is currently working as a Research Assistant for the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System and the Assistant Head Coach of the UF Weightlifting Club Team. In addition, he has received the American Physiology Society's Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship, the Summer Research Early Identification Program at NYU Langone Health, and the American Association of Japanese Teacher's Bridging Scholarship.
