Adriana is a second-year Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University, and interested in the neuropsychological assessment of adults with cognitive impairment. Adriana received her B.S. in Biopsychology at Tufts University, where she worked in the Memory and Cognition Lab to understand how proactive interference inhibits the storage and retrieval of new information. Adriana previously worked as a research enrollment coordinator for the All of Us Research Program, assisting in creating a representative national database of health information for researchers. Adriana is currently a student therapist at the Gronkowski Center, where she delivers individual psychotherapy to adult clients. Additionally, Adriana works as a research assistant in the Wellness in Aging Lab at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System under the direction of Dr. Kaci Fairchild. Her work investigates non-pharmacological treatments for age-related cognitive impairment by examining potential mechanisms by which exercise can protect against cognitive decline. Adriana’s goal is to provide individualized assessment and treatment planning for adults with age and injury-related cognitive change.
