Dr. David Clark obtained his ScD degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from Boston University. He is currently working as an Associate Investigator and Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Research for the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System and Associate Professor at the University of Florida. His research focuses on enhancing walking function in people with neurological impairments, particularly older adults and people post-stroke. Ongoing studies involve neurorehabilitation, neuroimaging, non-invasive brain stimulation, electrophysiology, and biomechanics. He has received funding from and was awarded the highest honor bestowed by the US Government to outstanding scientists and engineers completing the early phase of their career, the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, or PECASE.
