Joaquin Barrios PT, DPT, PhD is Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Dayton. He is the founding director of the department's Motion Analysis Laboratory, focusing on 3D motion capture methods and lower extremity biomechanics. He teaches in the musculoskeletal and research portions of the Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum. Dr. Barrios has published 29 peer-reviewed articles and presented 70 conference abstracts to date on topics such as lower extremity malalignment, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and clinical measurement psychometric properties.
