My name is Harumi Morioka and I am a neurologist in Toho University Faculty of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan. I was born in Japan, and raised in the United States of America. I graduated Toho University in 2013, and after my residency in Toho University, I decided to specialize in neurology. Our facility is the only facility in Japan to have an ALS clinic, and we treat many ALS patients. I have been conducting studies of rehabilitation in ALS patients, and published two papers on the effect of robot assisting rehabilitation using Hybrid Assistive Limb.
