Administrative Director for Good Shepard Learns, Creates, and Research
Good Shepard Rehabilitation Network
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
I believe curiosity leads to big ideas that have the potential to create a better world for individuals with disabilities. As Administrative Director of Good Shepherd Learns, Creates, and Clinical Research, I lead the organization’s effort to advance rehabilitation by creating engaging education, mentorship, and research opportunities focused on developing tomorrow’s clinical experts and innovators. I established and oversee the Good Shepherd Innovation Grants, a sequential funding opportunity for employees of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network and Good Shepherd Penn Partners. This program allows employees the space and support to research, develop, and trial ideas that may lead to future research, practices, services, or products. Under my leadership, this program has expanded to include direct mentorship and tailored collaborative learning events that empower employees to expand their thinking and develop new skills. In my role, I also lead the organization’s effort to explore new and future rehab technologies through academic and industry collaborations. I helped establish The Good Shepherd-Moravian University 3D Printing Experience that will bring together clinicians, students, and patients in order to fully explore how this exciting technology may be able to improve care and quality of life. Through creating exciting and engaging learning experiences within our clinical residencies, student, and employee mentorship programs, I hope to contribute to sustained advancement of clinical practice and patient care.
