An alumni of the Ithaca College Occupational Therapy Program, Jacquelyn Geanta has flourished in her role as a staff therapist at Glen Cove Hospital. As chair of the Rehabilitation Collaborative Care Council, she has helped spearhead projects surrounding discipline specific communication handoff forms as well as a department newsletter. She has presented at the Northwell Health's Healthy Work Environment Challenge Symposium as well as Northwell Health's 8th Annual Brain Injury Conference. Her experiences primarily on the Brain Injury Unit have helped develop her passion for multidisciplinary communication.
