Sara Prokup is the Manager of Research Operations for the Max Nader Center for Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes and the Technology and Innovation Hub (tiHUB) at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. She has a background in the study of human movement in addition to an advanced degree in physical therapy. Her current and past work includes a combination of clinical treatment and research in the area of neurologic rehabilitation. The research she is involved with in the Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes Lab is to investigate the effectiveness of using robotic exoskeletons, wearable sensors, and other technologies in physical rehabilitation for patients with neurologic diagnoses.
