Adrienne Tanus is a public health professional currently working as a Project Manager at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, WA. She received a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Washington State University. For the past 4 years, she has managed research teams for multiple studies, including two studies focused on low back pain research: a randomized clinical trial and a case-crossover study. In particular, Adrienne managed the trial entitled, “Combined Treatments to Optimize Functional Recovery in Veterans with Low Back Pain”. This trial explored the feasibility and effectiveness of combining procedural and behavioral treatments in Veterans with chronic low back pain.
