Dr. Ruiying Ding is currently a professor and department chair at Elmhurst University Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is ASHA certified speech language pathologist. She has been a professor in speech language pathology for over 18 years and she has worked as a
speech language pathologist in various clinical settings including acute hospital, rehabilitation center, outpatient clinic and nursing homes for
5 years. She has published 8 book chapters and 19 research articles in nationally and internationally renowned journals. She has presented extensively in conferences nationally and internationally. Her research interest is dysphagia evaluation and treatment in various clinical populations.
