Torian Turner is a second-year occupational therapy student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from Morris, Alabama. She received a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management with honors at UAB. Torian is an active member in ALOTA, AOTA, and SOTA where she most recently held the position of Social Event Chair. She has participated in partnerships with Horizon's School in Birmingham and UAB guiding clients in physical and nutritional health. She has also partnered with Come Roll With Me regarding program development. She is interested in the role of occupational therapists in foster care adolescent mental health and rehabilitation following traumatic experiences.
