Scott Monfort, PhD is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at Montana State University and co-director of the Neuromuscular Biomechanics Laboratory at Montana State. His research centers around understanding the spectrum of cognitive-movement interactions to develop novel screening and therapeutic targets for reducing the burden of falls and musculoskeletal injuries. This research spans populations (e.g., healthy and injured athletes, older adults, cancer survivors) and movements (e.g., standing balance, walking, sport movements).
