I am a pediatric emergency medicine and emergency medicine point-of-care ultrasound physician. I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine and Harvard Medical School and attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. While I am not a rehabilitation professional, I am a staff pediatrician at Franciscan Children's Hospital in Brighton MA, where this research took place. I work with several rehabilitation professionals whom are co-authors on this submitted work. Franciscan Children's Hospital is a pediatric post-acute care/rehabilitation hospital where the focus of my ultrasound research occurs, specifically in children with medical complexity. I have published several works in this area on diaphragm and lung ultrasound in this group of children.
