Amanda Kjeldgaard Jørgensen is finalizing her Master’s degree in psychology at Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her principal subjects are Neuropsychology and Clinical psychology. Also, Amanda is working as a Research Psychology Student in the Neurorehabilitation Research and Knowledge Centre, Copenhagen, Denmark. The research conducted in Neurorehabilitation Research and Knowledge Centre regard the neurorehabilitation needs of patients with injury to the brain or spinal cord, and Amanda's core task is data management.
Currently, Amanda Kjeldgaard Jørgensen is conducting her Master's Thesis in collaboration with University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and the Neurorehabilitation Research and Knowledge Centre, Copenhagen, Denmark. Amanda is investigating the emotional needs and reactions of children whose primary caregiver has acquired an injury to the brain or spinal cord, during rehabilitation and after discharge from hospital. The aim is to provide knowledge on how children can be supported throughout the period of hospitalization and during the following rehabilitation process.
