Dr. Jessica Evans, PT, DPT, PhD, NCS is a former astrophysicist turned physical therapist. She received her doctor of physical therapy degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2020, and became a Board Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist in July 2022. Dr. Evans began her physical therapy career as a Neurological Physical Therapy Resident at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and went on to treat a varied outpatient neurological and orthopedic population at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan until September 2022. She is now starting her own private practice, Headstrong Physical Therapy, incorporating her expertise in technical research, education, and clinical reasoning to specialize in preventative care, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitative health for neurological populations.
