Dr. Haworth is an Assistant Professor of Biomechanics in the School of Health Sciences at Oakland University. Dr. Haworth's research focuses on the identification of early indicators of clinical disorders and the production of novel therapeutic modalities using eye-tracking, motion capture, posturographic, and mobile computing technologies. He creates innovative interventions for the development of motor strategies and social-cognitive skills in children with and without autism. He also studies the integration of sensorimotor information and behavior in daily tasks (upright standing, walking, and interpersonal communication). He advocates for the use of instrumented behavior analysis to monitor and improve mobility.
