Dr. Yuan Yang is Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering at University of Oklahoma, USA. He is also Adjunct Faculty at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and at the Laureate Institute for Brain Research. His research focuses on motor control, brain science and stroke rehabilitation using innovative engineering approaches, e.g. multi-modal brain imaging and non-invasive brain stimulation. He was awarded “Hojjat Adeli Award for Outstanding Contributions in Neural Systems” by World Scientific Publishing in 2017 and Dixon Translational Research Award from Northwestern Memorial Foundation in 2019. His research is currently supported by an NIH NICHD R21, OSCTR and Oklahoma state grant. He has more than 40 peer-reviewed journal publications and have served as ad hoc reviewer for more than 30 international journals and the Scientific Committee of various national and international grants.
