As a physical therapist, Shirley James has worked with patients with stroke for the past 34 years. Additionally, she has completed research in the areas of stroke, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. She currently holds a faculty position at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences.
