Research Health Science Specialist
Health Economics Resource Center (HERC), Ci2i, VA Palo Alto Healthcare System
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
I joined the Health Economics Resource Center (HERC) at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) as a Research Health Science Specialist in 2019. My methodological areas include VA Informatics and Computing Infrastructure (VINCI) database analyses, economic evaluation, statistical/econometric modeling, and analysis of vulnerable population disparities. I am currently funded as PI on the Health Economics Study for the Long-Term Impact of Military-Relevant Brain Injury Consortium (LIMBIC) Award. I am also funded as co-investigator for a number of VA and NIH grants. I have served as a research assistant on detail to the Chief of the VA Office of Health Equity, engaging in evaluation and policy-making to reduce inequity in health services and health outcomes among U.S. veterans. I recently have gained expertise in analysis of Department of Defense (DoD) DaVINCI databases with respect to military exposures and VA service-connected disability and costs.
