Mr Clive Kempson had a stroke in November 2015, at aged 52. Following 10 days on the stroke ward, Clive was moved to an in-patient rehab facility for four weeks. He was unable to stand unassisted, had no use of his right arm or leg, and was experiencing speech problems. Today, Clive is continuing his recovery. He is living independently in a lifestyle community, is back driving, and remains positive about the future.
Clive chairs the Brain Recovery and Rehabilitation Group Consumer Advisory Panel, and has an interest in meaningful engagement of consumer perspectives in research.
