Mun Yu is a project officer at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She conducts research on the psychosocial wellbeing of caregivers and individuals with stroke. She is also currently a psychologist in training with James Cook University, Australia.
Mun Yu has extensive research experience from working in various governmental agencies and facilitated policy development in fields such as behavioural insights and forensic psychology. She also has prior experience working in clinical practice in Australia. Her research interests include ageing, goal-setting theory, quality of life, and the psychological concept of flow.
She aims to become a clinical geriatric psychologist to empower seniors to age well in place and achieve a better quality of life.
