Myra Jasmine Ibrahim is a Research Assistant at the Rehabilitation Research Institute (RRIS) of Singapore. She completed her three-year undergraduate degree in Australia (Bachelor of Science in Psychology) before pursuing a fourth year honours program (Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours)) in Singapore. In clinical settings, she has provided therapy to children on the autism spectrum and/or suffers from developmental delays. Her research experiences predominantly lies with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, which focuses on identifying the psychosocial needs of individuals with chronic conditions, such as stroke and muskoskeletal conditions.
Myra Jasmine is not only an experienced therapist, she has demonstrated proficient skills in conducting research across areas spanning from the unmet needs of stroke, quality of life, family caregiving, emotional regulation, and cross-cultural psychology. She uses both qualitative and quantitative approaches to guide her research methodologies.
She is working towards pursuing a masters in the field of psychology or public health.
