I am a data scientist and informatician with graduate training in statistics and physiology and over a decade of experience writing software and developing databases in the service of clinical and translational research. My research interest is using health records data to better predict outcomes for frail and complex patients and improve the quality and safety of medical care, particularly in the areas of oncology and geriatrics. It is important to me that the analytic methods and software I develop for my own research be useful to other researchers.
