Jordana C. Lockwich PT, DPT is a neurological physical therapist and PhD Candidate from Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and graduated in 2006 with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Jefferson College. Jordana served as an adjunct clinical faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh within the DPT program and has worked as a physical therapist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in inpatient neurological rehabilitation for eight years. Jordana, her husband Brian and 22-month year old son Theo now live in Evansville, IN. She is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Evansville in the DPT program where she is the lead instructor for both acute care and neurological rehabilitation courses. Jordana entered the RHB PhD program at the University of Kentucky to study exercise opportunities for individuals with neurological impairments living in rural communities. Jordana has published regarding intervention strategies and management for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and traumatic brain injury. Jordana still practices as a DPT at Encompass Inpatient Rehabilitation in Evansville where she treats individuals requiring comprehensive therapy following a neurological injury.
