Paula Kett currently works as a Research Scientist at the Center for Health Workforce Studies at the University of Washington. Her research is focused on the public health workforce, the nursing workforce, and those providing perinatal care including midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and peer counselors. She has a background as a public health nurse, lactation consultant, and maternal health program manager and seeks to advance perinatal health equity through research, practice, and teaching.
