Danbi Lee, PhD, OTD, OTR/L is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Core Faculty in the Disability Studies Program at University of Washington, Seattle. Her research focuses on self-management interventions and outcome measures for people with stroke with a focus on community living and participation. Dr. Lee also conducts health equity research evaluating the impact of ableism on healthcare experiences and health care education. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Yonsei University in South Korea, a doctorate in occupational therapy (OTD) degree from University of Illinois at Chicago, and a PhD in Disability Studies from University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Health Services and Outcomes Research at Northwestern University.
