Esmeralda Madrigal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who serves as a Program Director for the Polytrauma Network Site Program and the Headache Center of Excellence at the VA Palo Alto. She has 15 years of experience working in clinical and administrative capacities. In her current role, she oversees an outpatient rehabilitation program which provides care for veterans and service members with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and polytrauma. She oversees an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, coordinates TBI services across her region, provides training and consultation to VA staff. She is also currently serving as the Interim Program Director for the VA Palo Alto Assistive Technology Center which provides outpatient, inpatient and home-based services for individuals with a disability to improve their independence and quality of life.
