Michael is a doctoral student at UIC developing a 2D robotic ankle exoskeleton which can provide plantar-flexion and in/eversion assistance.
He has worked on the personalization of stiffness and pressure symmetry optimization of simulated amputees with the use of a 2D robotic ankle-foot prosthesis. He plans to develop a portable exoskeleton system in which wearers can utilize to traverse uneven terrain.
