Dr. Morgan Marruso a NY state licensed psychologist who specializes in lifespan neuropsychology. She attained her bachelor's degree at the University at Albany. She earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), and continued at PCOM for her doctorate in clinical psychology, with an informal focus in neuropsychology. Dr. Marruso completed her APA-accredited internship through Immaculata University with placements at Bancroft Neurorehabilitation in Southern, NJ and the Student Health Services Center at Rutgers University, Camden. She completed her two- year postdoctoral residency training in lifespan neuropsychology at Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut's medical rehabilitation.
Throughout her doctoral and internship training, Dr. Marruso received extensive training in neuropsychology with adults with a wide range of neurological and psychiatric conditions within medical rehabilitation and hospital settings. During her postdoctoral residency training, she provided neuropsychological services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, with a focus on pediatrics in her second year of specialty training. She has experience working with children and adults with a wide range of neurological (e.g., epilepsy, tumor, hydrocephalus, etc.), medical, developmental (e.g., ADHD, intellectual disability, autism, etc.), academic (e.g., learning disorders) , and psychiatric and behavioral conditions and disorders.
Dr. Marruso is currently employed as a staff neuropsychologist within Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital in upstate NY. At Sunnyview hospital, she provides neuropsychological services to adults both inpatient and outpatient with a focus on traumatic brain injury for the inpatient population. Dr. Marruso also works within private practice at Children’s Neuropsychological Services, providing neuropsychological and academic evaluations to pediatric, adolescent, and young adult population.
