Michelle McKerral, is a Neuropsychologist and Professor at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of arts and sciences, Université de Montréal. She conducts her clinical research activities at the R3 LAB of the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire en réadaptation du Montréal métropolitain (CRIR)-Institut universitaire sur la déficience physique de Montréal (IURDPM) of CIUSSS Centre-Sud-de-l'Ile-de-Montréal. Her research program focuses on enhancing rehabilitation effectiveness (i.e., implementation of evidenced-based cognitive and interdisciplinary interventions) and monitoring recovery of cognitive function and social participation (i.e., use of mixed methods: neuropsychological, electrophysiological brain imaging, outcomes reported by clinicians, patients, family caregivers) in adults with traumatic brain injury or other brain injuries (e.g. stroke), in order to positively influence their short- and long-term outcomes (e.g., return to work, quality of life).
