Dr. Swanson is an assistant professor in the UAB Department of Pediatrics Division of Pediatrics division of Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr. Swanson completed her residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Combined Pediatrics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She attended medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin.
