Megan Douglas has a doctoral degree in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of North Texas. She completed her APA-accredited clinical internship at the West Haven VA through the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Research/ Clinical Psychology at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation, and Model System for both Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury. Her current appointment is as a Research Scientist in Behavioral Health with the Trauma Research Consortium at the Baylor Scott & White Research Institute in Dallas, TX. Her clinical expertise focuses on evidence-based behavioral medicine and psychotherapy interventions for acute and chronic medical conditions. Research interests include rehabilitation outcomes, substance use, trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder, weight management, and disordered eating.
