Alex has been working as a research coordinator at the Center for Gait and Movement Analysis (CGMA) at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Alex joined the CGMA research team in May 2016 as a research assistant, in which he was responsible for coordinating all projects under the director of CGMA, Dr. James Carollo, as well all the projects under assistant professor and surgeon Dr. Jason Rhodes. As the lead researcher coordinator for Dr. Carollo and Dr. Rhodes, Alex has worked on projects that focus on improve the quality of life and treatment options for individuals with disabilities, with an emphasis in cerebral palsy (CP).
Alex has also participated in a cerebral palsy (CP) trial, entitled “Cerebral Palsy Adult Transition Longitudinal Study (CPAT)”, in which his role was a lead research coordinator of the study, and has worked closely with Dr. James Carollo and Dr. Patricia Heyn. Alex fully supports the proposed project titled “Cerebral Palsy Aging Study (CPAS) study” and hopes to provide support to these adults with CP.
