I am a Research Scientist with extensive experience in neuroscience research and clinical studies focused on the development of new therapies for patients with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders. With more than a decade of experience in rehabilitation, neurophysiology, and neural plasticity, I have worked with multiple multi-disciplinary teams and projects focused on developing novel treatment strategies for recovery of function in patients with acquired brain injuries. As a research scientist at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, I serve as a co-investigator for a study assessing longitudinal evaluation of physical and cognitive function utilizing a comprehensive AM-PAC measurement for stroke survivors. As an Assistant Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, I serve as a research faculty for the Brain Injury Medicine fellowship program, as well as the physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program.
