Paige Carroll PT, DPT, CBIS, Cert.DN is a physical therapist at Sheltering Arms Institute in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from the DPT program at Lynchburg College in May 2014. Her clinical experience has been diverse as she has worked with many orthopedic and neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. In 2019 she took a position with the successful, outpatient interdisciplinary concussion team. On this team she performs co-evaluations for the PM&R MD Clinic, co-facilitates a support group, is a member of the knowledge broker research program, and is an active treating therapist. She has contributed to science by co-authoring and presenting posters at both CSM and ACRM in the last 6 years. Personal growth is very important to her, so she has recently widened her scope of practice by achieving certifications in brain injury (CBIS) and dry needling. She enjoys working with the concussion population as the therapy blends orthopedic and neurological treatments. Sheltering Arms Institute is a unique place to work as it has access to cutting edge technology and encourages evidence-based practice. Her work enviornment and passion for concussion rehabilation inspired her most recent case series.
