William Choi, MBE is a first-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his BS with honors in Neuroscience and double majored in Philosophy at the Johns Hopkins University, and completed his Master of Bioethics degree at Harvard Medical School. William is passionate about studying diverse philosophical approaches to death and dying, and developing patient-centered decision-making models for individuals with neuropsychiatric conditions. William has published and presented his work in several bioethics mediums such as in Voices in Bioethics and the Institute of Medical Ethics, and he is the recipient of the 2022 Beecher Prize in Medical Ethics.
