Ian Kahrilas, Ph.D., was a graduate student at Loyola University Chicago. He completed his predoctoral clinical psychology internship at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital on the Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders (SCI/D) Unit, providing psychotherapy and brief psychological/cognitive evaluations to Veterans with SCI/D in outpatient and inpatient settings. He also completed a research rotation focused on pre-transplant evaluations and mental health outcomes. Ian’s research interests broadly center on the neural correlates of emotion regulation and reactivity in mood disorders (e.g., depression) and devising neuroscience-informed psychological interventions. Ian is currently a data scientist at Teladoc Health.
