Dr. Engel is a research project manager in the Center for Aphasia Research and Treatment at the Shirley Ryan Abilitylab. She contributes to clinical research studies aimed at improving aphasia treatment. Her current projects investigate the use of non-invasive brain stimulation and optimizing the dosage of computer-based speech therapy programs. Samantha holds a PhD in Language and Communicative Disorders.
