A. Personal Statement
I have the expertise, leadership, training, expertise and motivation necessary to successfully carry out the proposed research project. I have a broad background in law and public health, specifically training around adolescent psychology, psychology in education and law. I have done extensive programmatic work with underserved, at risk populations, and have established very strong ties with community organizations and youth populations in New York City, New Jersey and Philadelphia. I have been running a non-profit organization for 10+ years, collaborated with other organizations and produced several works on my programmatic successes. I am keenly familiar with being in communication with members of the team and creating a plan, timeline, and budget. The current application builds on my work.
