Dr. Amy McGorry is the Director of Clinical Education at Long Island University Post. Dr. McGorry is a certified manual physical therapist through the University of St. Augustine, Florida where she received her DPT. She graduated from SUNY Stony Brcurreook with a
B.S. in Physical Therapy from SUNY Stony Brook in 1991 and her practice included outpatient and inpatient Physical Therapy at Mercy Medical Center, then the outpatient Physical Therapy at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. McGorry, served as Director of Physical Therapy at Plus One PT in New York City and entered the academic world at Long Island University Post where she teaches intro to Health Sciences. Dr. McGorry 's focus has been on the use of manual physical therapy in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries throughout her career. Dr. McGorry also works as a health reporter for Fox News Digital and is an anchor/ news reporter at a local news station on Long Island, N.Y.
