Dr Kramer is an early career researcher and postdoctoral fellow at the Centre of Quality and Patient Safety, Institute for Health Transformation at Deakin University. She has a background in physiotherapy and has worked clinically in stroke rehabilitation in the Netherlands. Her research is focussed on developing, and testing physical activity and exrcise interventions for stroke rehabilitation and recovery. She has qualitative and quantitative research experience and ensures that consumers are actively involved in her research. Dr Kramer has extensive experience in clinical trial designs and has a special interest in early phase trial methods, which can be applied to the systematic development of effective neurorehabilitation interventions.
