Dr. Ryan Lewis is a final year Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Resident at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. At the conclusion of his physiatry residency training, he has an appointment to the Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He obtained his medical degree from St. George's University of London in the United Kingdom in 2017.
Dr. Lewis has clinical, academic and research interests at the intersection of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Palliative Care. He is the only resident physician member of a national collaborative research group comprised of PM&R and HPM clinician investigators, whose research efforts focus on addressing shared issues in patient care and trainee education. He was also first author of a Cancer Rehabilitation book chapter in a new PM&R handbook.
