James (Drew) is currently a doctoral candidate in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University, working under the mentorship of Drs. Julius PA Dewald PT, PhD and CJ Heckman PhD. His current work focuses on understanding the noradrenergic modulation of human motor units, including novel methods of quantification, role in motor control, and implications in neural injury.
