Dr. Rachel Santiago is a Rehabilitation Neuropsychology Fellow at the San Francisco VA Medical Center where she devotes a portion of her time to clinical research on brain injury rehabilitation and neuropsychology, and another portion of her time in clinical neuropsychology providing assessment in outpatient TBI and other Neuropsychology clinics. She also provides cognitive rehabilitation to veterans with TBI. Her research during fellowship focuses on cognitive, emotional, and functional outcomes following Goal-Oriented Attentional Self-Regulation (GOALS) training in Veterans with PTSD and TBI. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology at Palo Alto University. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the Miami VA Medical Center as the Neuropsychology Intern. She is interested in pursuing a career at the VA with work related to neuropsychology, cognitive rehabilitation, TBI, and aging.
