A. Personal Statement
I am a new PM&R faculty specializing in pain management. I am currently director of the intrathecal pain pump program at UT Southwestern as a part of the larger intrathecal therapy program for spasticity, where we have approximately 350 IT pumps in our system. I am also director of our simulation lab curriculum for the department of PM&R, where I am currently developing tools for implementation of simulation into residency education. My interests are in treating pain holistically from multiple modalities to improve function in patients. I am performing the implants for the peripheral nerve stimulation study and contributing scientifically.
