Hendrik Dewald, BSEE, is a PhD candidate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in Case Western Reserve University, as well as a Research Fellow at Northwestern University. He has done work in the fields of prosthetics, machine learning, electromyography, stroke, assistive arm devices, motion tracking, and robotics. His current research focuses on improving hand function in moderate to severely impaired individuals with chronic hemiparetic stroke.
