Beth Malina BSN, RN, CNRN is the Director of Quality and System Improvement for Nebraska. She currently is directing the Nebraska Mission: Lifeline Stroke which is working on system of care for stroke on all levels from EMS to Rehab. Through this grant we are providing education and tools for stroke care throughout the state of Nebraska. She has previously worked as a QSI Director in Kansas, Nebraska, and Kansas City for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. In this role she supports Hospitals and EMS in use of AHA Get With The Guidelines programs of Stroke, Heart Failure, Resuscitation, A-fib, and Acute Coronary Syndrome. These programs support quality initiatives within the hospitals in the areas list above. Beth has been a nurse for over 20 years working in Critical Care, Interventional Radiology, Labor and Delivery and most recently as a Stroke Coordinator. Beth completed her bachelors of nursing degree at the University of Missouri and been a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse since 2011.
