Alyssa is a fourth-year undergraduate student completing a double major in Biology and Psychology at UBC. She is a research assistant for the G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Program under the supervision of Dr. Julia Schmidt, and focuses on understanding and improving the life experiences of people with traumatic brain injuries. In addition to her involvement at G.F. Strong, she works as a research assistant with the UBC BRAIN Lab on a study focusing on reducing overdose and relapse in individuals with concurrent disorders.
