Elizabeth Mangone is a fourth year MD/MPH student enrolled at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. She obtained her bachelors in science in psychology from Boston College. Prior to entering medical school, Elizabeth spent three years working as a healthcare consultant for Precision Xtract. In this role, she provided pharmaceutical companies with strategic guidance on pricing and market access for pharmaceuticals products. During her time in medical school, Elizabeth has engaged in a variety of research areas from stroke and inpatient rehabilitation to hysterectomy outcomes, and public health infectious disease research. Additionally, she has been involved in numerous leadership roles at the College of Medicine including as a first-year tutor, wellness committee member and student admissions committee lead. She will be applying to an obstetrics and gynecology residency this fall.
